Financial Planning
Comprehensive planning that connects your business and personal financial goals (cash flow, retirement, estate, tax, and risk) in one integrated picture.
Our Commitment
Modern Wealth is an Independent Fiduciary providing Fee-Only Financial Planning and Business Advisory for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners.
As a Fee-Only firm, Modern Wealth is compensated solely by clients, not by commissions, referral fees, or third-party incentives. This structure removes the financial conflicts of interest that can arise when an advisor earns money by recommending specific products.
Our planning and investment recommendations are driven entirely by what is best for you and your family, not by what earns us a commission. Transparency in compensation is one of the most important ways we demonstrate our commitment to your interests.
The two sound almost identical, and that is precisely the problem. A fee-based advisor charges a fee and can still collect commissions on the side. A fee-only advisor cannot. The only money we receive comes directly from the clients we serve, which means there is never a hidden reason to recommend one product over another.
When compensation is simple, incentives are simple. You always know exactly what you pay us and exactly what you are getting: advice, not a sales pitch.
Who we serve
Our Fee-Only model is designed for business owners whose financial lives are more complex, where personal wealth and business finances are deeply intertwined.
Comprehensive planning that connects your business and personal financial goals (cash flow, retirement, estate, tax, and risk) in one integrated picture.
Valuation, value optimization, and exit planning to help you build a business worth transferring, and achieve financial freedom when the time comes.
Objective investment guidance without product sales or commissions, aligned with your personal financial plan and risk tolerance.
When your personal wealth and your business are intertwined, the recommendations you receive carry real weight. An insurance policy, a rollover, an annuity, a packaged “solution” can each generate a large one-time commission for whoever recommends it. Fee-only removes that incentive entirely. What we earn does not change based on which strategy we suggest, so you can trust that a recommendation to buy, to wait, or to do nothing is made purely on the merits.
For owners weighing an exit or a liquidity event, that matters most of all. The stakes are high enough that you cannot afford advice shaped by a commission schedule. Fee-only, paired with our independence and our fiduciary duty, means the plan is built around your business and your household, not around a product sale.
Independent. Fee-only. Fiduciary. They are three parts of one commitment: advice you can trust because there is no one else we have to please.
A complimentary 30-minute Exploration Call: no pressure, no commissions, no agenda but yours.
